Purpose
Things we buy have stories. They also have after stories. Where do they come from, what happens after we let go of them?
Right from the beginning, Arture sources 100% natural materials. They derive raw materials, that is, plant-based fabrics from where they are naturally grown and harvested. Next, they make the best use of these materials. Less is more when they take from the environment. They try to make every bit of the business more sustainable.
People
Their in-house team comprises 4 artisans - 3 male and 1 female. They provide all the artisans with equal opportunities regardless of gender. They also indirectly impact agricultural workers in Mexico and the Mediterranean by using the materials created by them and thereby supporting their livelihoods.
Planet
They work with cruelty-free and eco-friendly materials like cork, cactus leather, and organic cotton. As far as possible, they refrain from using materials that are harmful to the environment in any way. They also use recycled materials in packaging, keeping it completely plastic-free. They donate a portion of every sale to the ResQ animal charity in Pune, India, which aids the animals in their care.
