LarRarh was born out of the founder’s admiration for Indian arts, history, heritage, textiles, and everything green and sustainable, amidst the global pandemic. LarRarh means intermingling threads for creating melodies. Thus, this homegrown brand creates handwoven, eco-friendly, and chic fashion products from organic and naturally dyed fabrics inspired by Mother Nature. They have partnered with the weaver community in Orissa with the vision of creating beautifully handcrafted outfits, empowering them, and encouraging conscious consumerism.
Purpose
They offer a range of handwoven one-of-a-kind personalized outfits that are a fusion of art and heart exuding comfort, style, and boldness. "LarRarh's" mission is to add a touch of slowness to the fast-paced life, inspired by the beauty and timelessness of handloom. From every stitch to every snap, they are all about reducing waste, mindful manufacturing, promoting green fashion and encouraging repeat outfits. Inspired by Mother Nature, each piece is handwoven to perfection using organic, handspun and naturally dyed fabrics that are a perfect blend of comfort, aesthetic beauty and sustainability.
People
The brand is set on a journey to bring sustainability to the forefront and empowering the artisans at its core. They believe that LarRarh's heart lies in the hands of their artisans. Thus, they are committed to celebrating their artisans and weavers, by building a supportive environment, offering fair compensation while bringing their craft to life with joy.
Planet
LarRarh also aims to normalize and encourage repeating outfits. Their reversible, multi-purpose designs enable consumers to create multiple looks with just one purchase, reducing waste and promoting mindful living. From the use of handspun organic fabrics, wooden buttons to using upcycled fabrics for packaging, they’re all about taking care of the planet. Their unique seed paper tags can be planted, which promote zero-waste manufacturing and conscious consumerism.
