Neev Herbal Handmade Soaps is a Social Enterprise based in the village of Jamshedpur, Jharkhand. They work with rural communities especially women, to make herbal cosmetics by hand. Their products are prepared with no water or soil pollution, retaining the benefits of natural oils. They strive to create eco-friendly products as a means to provide livelihoods for the growth of these rural communities.
Purpose
Neev Herbal Handmade Soaps is not just a commodity but a vision for inclusive growth and sustainable rural development. They work towards not just social welfare, but also an experience of purity and high quality. All their products are certified as per the Quality Standards specified by the Department of AYUSH(Ayurveda), Government of India.
People
The products are prepared using a cold process that ensures that the beneficial qualities of the herbs and oils are retained, and the soaps do not rob the skin of its natural oil. The product formulations are based on aromatherapy and Ayurveda. All the electricity needs of the organization are met by solar panels installed with a capacity of 650kW. No machinery is used in the productions and no soil, air, water, or noise pollution is produced during the production. The TFM of our soaps is ranging from 76.5 to 77.8% for all varieties of soaps.
