“फिर” (phir), which in Hindi, means “Again”. Phir Studio was born during the first lockdown, with an aim to create the best out of waste. A firm believer in slow and conscious living, Phir is an ode to the age-old ritual of Reuse and Recycle. Creating thoughtful, timeless, and aesthetically rich stationery and lifestyle products, Phir focuses on bringing joy without hurting the planet. Each product is ethically handcrafted using only recycled and earth-friendly resources.
Purpose
“It all began with a dream, to live in a world without landfills.” – Shreya Goyal (Founder, Phir Studio)
With a vision to create a better tomorrow, the brand aims at creating products that are versatile in use and can be easily taken care of at home. From recycled and handmade papers to crochet coasters, everything is made mindfully by skilled women artisans in the comfort of their homes.
People
Phir Studio is a women-led art and design studio, located in the heart of Patna. Every product is designed in-house by the founder. While small batches of handmade papers are made in the studio itself, all other products are handcrafted by highly skilled women artisans in the comfort of their own homes. Each being paid fair wages, Phir Studio aims at providing financial independence to every woman in Bihar. Empowering one woman at a time, the brand firmly believes that women can have it all.
Planet
At Phir, every product is consciously handcrafted with sustainable resources. Each sheet of handmade paper is made by recycling dried plant fiber, fabric scraps, old newspapers, bills, and other paper scrap collected from homes and offices. Most products including handmade papers are dyed naturally with marigold flowers collected from temples. The brand uses 100% cotton thread for all crochet products. To ensure zero waste production, Phir studio reuses its own waste for packaging and other smaller products like brand tags, gift cards, etc.
