This beautiful Kharad textile art is one of a kind. It uses an age-old weaving technique, using local sheep wool, is coloured with plant-based dyes, and is woven on a nomadic loom without conventional energy. The artisan community is based in Kutch, Gujarat. Currently practiced by only 2 families, this is a diminishing craft.
