With a mission to preserve traditional textile techniques and present them as expressions of mindful, modern luxury, the brand collaborates with artisans from Kashmir, Uttar Pradesh, and Rajasthan-regions steeped in generations of craft knowledge. Chaar Chinar is committed to creating meaningful social impact by partnering directly with 12 skilled artisans across Kashmir and Uttar Pradesh communities renowned for their generational mastery of hand embroidery. Each piece takes between 50 to 70 hours to complete, reflecting the precision and dedication behind the craft. By providing consistent, fair-pay work, the brand supports dignified livelihoods and helps preserve age-old techniques. Many of Chaar Chinar’s artisans, including both men and women, are now earning independently some for the first time in their families. Believing that true craft revival begins with respect, the brand views artisans as co-creators, not just labor. Through long-term collaboration and investment in their growth and well-being, Chaar Chinar fosters a sustainable ecosystem where heritage thrives and communities flourish.
