Inspired by heirloom saris and handlooms passed down through generations, the brand envisions a world where traditional Indian textiles are not just preserved but lived in and loved every day. Each piece is a tribute to the artisans and histories behind every thread co-created in close collaboration with craftspeople across India. House of Leela is built on a foundation of social impact, with a mission to preserve craft-based livelihoods and uplift artisan communities. The brand collaborates with over 40 women from the Banjara community, who continue the intricate embroidery traditions of their heritage, along with more than 20 Pochampally Ikat weavers, 10 Mangalagiri weavers, and a team of skilled tailors. Each artisan is paid fair, dignified wages, ensuring their work is valued and their livelihoods sustained. With every garment purchased, customers directly support these artisans and their families.
