Description
This bright colored cotton cushion cover is a handmade cushion cover, the techniques of patch working and tanka embroidery have been used. The women artisans have sewn various patches of green cloth with different prints together. The red color of the thread on green fabric is giving it an allover look and feel. In older Working Days, the village women used to collect the worn out pieces of fabric and stitched them together to form quilts and “godris”. Now Working Days, with design playing an important role in home furnishing, this technique is used along with a basic design pattern to create a variety of products with variety of patterns.
